Dorothy L. Ryan, 84, of Janesville died December 30, 2010 at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center in Janesville. Dorothy was born October 13, 1926 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Earl and Mable (Webster) Olen. She married Robert Ryan who preceded her in death in 1973. Dorothy did housekeeping in private homes for many years. She resided in North Dakota until moving to Tacoma, Washington in 1956. She moved to Janesville in 1998 to be closer to her family. Dorothy was a member of Woodland Community Church in Janesville.

She is survived by daughters, Patricia Russell (Jerry Sturdevant) of Janesville, LuAnn Morse of Minnesota, Marilynn Crutchman of Alabama, Jane Noble (Linton Sr. ) of Ohio, 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a sister, Gladys Vanderway of Nebraska, special friends, Lois and Ken who helped in her life and last days. Many thanks to them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, 1 son, Henry Ellis, her parents, brothers and 1 sister.

Per Dorothy’s request, no visitation or services will be held. Entombment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park Mausoleum. Henke-Clarson Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements. www.henkeclarson.com.
